SAP PP Consultant
We are looking for a SAP PP Consultant to join our dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive full-cycle SAP PP implementations in ECC or S/4HANA environments, covering requirement gathering, solution design, configuration, UAT, go-live, and hypercare.
- Leverage detailed knowledge of the Fashion Suite (AFS or S/4HANA for Fashion) to address industry-specific challenges such as matrix handling (size/color), seasonal planning, VAS (Value Added Services), and rapid product change cycles.
- Configure SAP PP functionalities including MRP, Work Centers, Routings, Capacity Planning, Shop Floor Control, and Production Orders, specifically adapted for apparel manufacturing and order processing.
- Collaborate closely with MM, SD, WM, and FI teams to ensure integrated workflows supporting make-to-stock, make-to-order, and subcontracting models common in apparel.
- Analyze and enhance production-related processes to reduce lead times, improve visibility, and optimize plant and resource planning, especially in high-variation apparel production lines.
- Deliver user training and prepare documentation such as BPDs, Configuration Rationale, Functional Specs (FS), and SOPs, ensuring alignment with apparel industry use cases.
- Provide functional support, issue resolution, and change request handling to ensure uninterrupted production cycles.
- Stay updated with the latest SAP innovations in PP, Fashion Management, and Industry 4.0 trends relevant to the apparel domain.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Systems, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in SAP ECC PP or S/4HANA PP implementations, ideally in the fashion or apparel sector.
- Hands-on experience with Fashion Suite / AFS / S/4HANA for Fashion (seasonality, size/color matrix, segmentation).
- Deep knowledge of PP module components: MRP, BOMs, Work Centers, Routings, Capacity Planning, Shop Floor Execution.
- Familiarity with apparel-specific production models: subcontracting, in-house cutting/sewing, printing/embroidery process integration.
- Strong cross-functional knowledge of MM, SD, WM, and integration with external systems like PLM or MES.
- Excellent documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- SAP certification in PP or S/4HANA Manufacturing is an added advantage.
Preferred Experience
- Projects in denim, knitwear, or garment manufacturing.
- Exposure to IS-Retail or FMS to S/4HANA Fashion migrations.
- Knowledge of advanced planning tools like SAP IBP or APO is a plus.
