Senior Business Analyst
We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join our dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, define, and prioritize business and functional requirements for data science initiatives.
- Analyze complex business problems and translate them into clear, data-driven requirements and models.
- Develop high-quality documentation, including business process models, use cases, workflows, and functional specifications.
- Support product and data teams throughout the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Ensure alignment between business needs and outputs from analytics, data engineering, and AI/ML teams.
- Facilitate effective communication between technical and non-technical teams to ensure project clarity and alignment.
- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
- Apply risk management techniques and support limited-scope financial and contract management activities, where applicable.
- Assist in quality assurance, change management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to time management, project scheduling, and milestone tracking efforts.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in business analysis, with a strong focus on data science or analytics projects.
- Proficient in business process modeling, requirements documentation, and stakeholder engagement.
- Skilled in tools such as Microsoft Excel, Visio, JIRA, Confluence, or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid SDLC methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage stakeholder expectations and collaborate cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Certifications such as CBAP®, CCBA®, or PMI-PBA® are highly desirable.
- Experience in banking or software development environments.
- Familiarity with data analysis and visualization tools such as SQL, Power BI, or Tableau.
- Understanding of UX/UI principles and experience collaborating with design and product teams.
- Exposure to contract and budget management in a limited or project-specific capacity.
