Senior Quality Assurance Engineer (Playwright + Selenium)

We are looking for a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer (Playwright + Selenium) to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable automation frameworks using Playwright and Selenium.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and QA team members to understand requirements and define test strategies.
  • Execute automated and manual testing across functional, regression, integration, and smoke test cycles.
  • Identify, document, and track defects; work with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
  • Participate actively in QA planning, test case reviews, and sprint ceremonies.
  • Continuously improve test processes, tools, and best practices.
  • Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
  • Take ownership and proactively identify quality risks early in the development lifecycle.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong hands-on experience with Playwright with TypeScript for test automation.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver with Java for test automation.
  • Exposure to additional automation tools and frameworks (e.g., TestNG, Cucumber, JUnit).
  • Proficiency in Java and TypeScript.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in software QA and test automation.

Solid understanding of software testing fundamentals, including:

·     Test planning and estimation

·     Test case design techniques

·     Defect lifecycle management

·     Regression, smoke, sanity, and UAT testing

·     Manual testing alongside automation

  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automation into build processes.
  • Understanding of API testing, performance testing, or security testing is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms, containerization, or DevOps practices is an advantage.
  • Prior experience designing automation frameworks from scratch is highly desirable.
