We are looking for a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer (Playwright + Selenium) to join our dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable automation frameworks using Playwright and Selenium.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and QA team members to understand requirements and define test strategies.
- Execute automated and manual testing across functional, regression, integration, and smoke test cycles.
- Identify, document, and track defects; work with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
- Participate actively in QA planning, test case reviews, and sprint ceremonies.
- Continuously improve test processes, tools, and best practices.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
- Take ownership and proactively identify quality risks early in the development lifecycle.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright with TypeScript for test automation.
- Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver with Java for test automation.
- Exposure to additional automation tools and frameworks (e.g., TestNG, Cucumber, JUnit).
- Proficiency in Java and TypeScript.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in software QA and test automation.
Solid understanding of software testing fundamentals, including:
· Test planning and estimation
· Test case design techniques
· Defect lifecycle management
· Regression, smoke, sanity, and UAT testing
· Manual testing alongside automation
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automation into build processes.
- Understanding of API testing, performance testing, or security testing is a plus.
