Senior Project Manager (SPM)

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager (SPM) to join our dynamic team.

Responsibilities

  1. Lead and oversee multiple large-scale transformation and cross-functional projects, identifying business needs, developing strategic business cases, and securing executive-level approvals.
  2. Develop and govern end-to-end project plans in collaboration with key stakeholders, ensuring optimal allocation of human, financial, and material resources across the portfolio.
  3. Own project scope, budgets, timelines, and resource allocation for complex initiatives, proactively mitigating risks and resolving escalated issues to ensure successful execution.
  4. Monitor and drive team performance across projects, enforcing quality standards, deadlines, and compliance with enterprise project governance frameworks.
  5. Evaluate project and program effectiveness through stakeholder feedback, KPIs, and post-implementation reviews, providing strategic progress reports and actionable insights to leadership and steering committees.
  6. Mentor and guide junior project managers and cross-functional teams, collaborating closely with the Line Manager/HOD to align project outcomes with organizational strategy, and lead additional strategic initiatives as required.

 

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Business, IT, Engineering, or Project Management) with an advanced project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner, PgMP, or equivalent). Master’s degree preferred.
  2. 8+ years of progressive project management experience, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead capacity, ideally within IT, transformation, or cross-functional business environments.
  3. Expert understanding of project and program management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid), risk management, governance models, portfolio-level planning, and performance evaluation frameworks.
  4. Exceptional communication, executive-level presentation, and stakeholder-management skills, with proven ability to negotiate, influence, and drive consensus across senior leadership and external partners.
  5. Demonstrated leadership in conflict resolution, building cross-functional collaboration, and leveraging team strengths to achieve strategic project goals and organizational objectives.
  6. Uncompromising commitment to quality, application security, data integrity, and embedding best practices across all project teams, with a focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence
